Is the free version of Avid Media Composer right for me?

Avid Media Composer First is free editing software. New users must create an Avid account to download and set up the program on their computers. When you launch the program, you get introduced to the Getting Started with Media Composer tutorial clips, which are mandatory viewing for new users. We definitely recommend going through the getting started materials mainly because the software is not very intuitive, not even for the most experienced video editors.
